Title: Controller
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish & Maintain Standard Costing System
- Negotiate Insurance & Benefits Programs
- Insure the safeguarding of the Company’s assets through a system of internal controls.
- Insure that all systems (financial and operational) provide accurate, timely and meaningful data (ABC, Balanced Scorecard, etc) for management action and decision making.
- Provide financial training to key members of the management team to allow them to interpret financial results and key financial indicators, and develop a business strategy that meets corporate requirements for value creation.
- Accurate and on-time reparation of all reports.
- Prepares forecasts for corporate reporting and to insure budget control.
- Responsible for management of the capital program including budgeting, forecasting, and review of appropriation requests.
- Prepares financials for the long range plan.
- Supervises the Accounting Department personnel including payroll, payables, receivables, general ledger, and budget analysis.
- Lead/Assist in Inventory Controls (Obsolete Material, Inventory Turns, Excess Material and Excess Freight.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure GAAP compliance and accuracy.
- Develop a professional and motivated financial organization.
- Functional audits at an appropriate frequency.
- Provide early warning on all business trends that affect the performance of the business including P&L issues, B/S issues, C/F issues and Operational issues.
- Provide financial leadership in all quoting, cost estimating, and appropriations request preparation.
- Insure that all accounts are in balance and correct according to generally accepted accounting principles, including FASB and SEC guidelines.
- Cost accounting for all manufacturing operations.
Position Requirements:
- 10 Years or more experience in accounting with increasing responsibility;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is required
- Establishing and maintaining a M/L/B standard costing systems

Education Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
