Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Staff liaison to the President and the Board of Directors, including regular meetings providing detailed input and advice.  Recommend all annual & quarterly goals, measure and track the success and direction of goals, and report progress to the President and Board
  • Develop and successfully execute strategic and operational plans for the business:  Short and Long-term Goals; Financial Performance; Organization Structure and Processes; Service and Program Plans; Sales; Capital Projects; Product; Profitability; Quality; Complete and On-Time; Budgets
  • Build open communication and teamwork of sr. management team and throughout the company
  • Drive innovation and a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization
  • Oversee all personnel and staffing levels required to support profitable business growth
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, including OSHA, EPA, Labor, and required reporting
  • Ensure the company, its culture, programs, products, and services are positively accepted by customers, factory communities, the industry, key influencers, and the workforce

Position Requirements:

  • A true leader who can and will hold people accountable, and is able to unite multiple agendas, personalities, and levels of authority/influence into common goals and action
  • 10+ years operations experience in an executive position (COO, VP Operations) within a customer focused manufacturing environment utilizing innovations in manufacturing and quality
  • Kitchen & Bath showroom, independent dealer channel experience
  • A track record of continuous improvement, a proactive mindset always looking for opportunities
  • Financial acumen, ability to compute cost scenarios and read/interpret financial data quickly and effectively.  Profit/EBITDA driven
  • Tracks customer, market, and industry trends and responds quickly
  • Excellent communicator at all levels who engenders a culture of openness and honesty
  • Consultative and collaborative – consults with management team, the President, and the Board, deferring to their judgement when it is within their scope of authority
  • IT/ERP familiarity, SAP a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or marketing (extensive “C” level experience will be considered)
