Our Client:

Our client is a well-established, vertically integrated manufacturer offering semi-custom cabinetry. This privately-owned company is dedicated to the development of personnel and maintaining a professionally team-oriented environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assume Leadership Role
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and manage the Product Development Process from research and development through execution, including development of Tollgate/Stage Gate Process and implementation timeline
  • Act as point of first reference for all product related inquiries and works collaboratively with other departments to address any issues that may arise
  • Implementation of product line with “proof of concept” testing of new engineering-to-shop floor execution and configuration of software
  • Create problem solving systems with “root cause analysis” thought process to find issues and quickly determine resolutions and to measure efficiency and accuracy
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on product

Position Requirements:

  • Cabinet design expertise, understanding of cabinet manufacturing and technical knowledge of specification and production
  • Proven history developing a team and implementing processes, tools, structure, measurement, analytical, reporting systems
  • Demonstrated success launching products that led to profitable sales growth
  • Comfort working in a highly entrepreneurial, high-growth environment
  • Comfort working at both strategic and tactical levels on daily basis – leader and doer
  • Ability to deal with high-volume work load and handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills – written, oral, presentation
  • Accountability and ownership of products, process and results
  • Strong computer skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, MBA is a plus
