Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Grow and oversee the wholesale sales department, ensuring sales team is focused on the right areas to grow the business
  • Develop and cultivate strategic customer relationships by listening to their needs, defining execution plan, and deliver on such plans
  • Identify and implement new products, geographic expansion opportunities, promotions, and pricing programs
  • Work closely with marketing to develop, educate, and drive consistency in communicating a clearly articulated “Value Proposition” from corporate for each key target audience.  Utilize digital marketing as a strategic advantage
  • Analyze and organize the internal and external selling organizations to maximize their effectiveness and efficiency
  • Manage, mentor and encourage our independent manufacturer reps to successfully close new business
  • Work closely with VP of Strategic Accounts driving corporate account initiatives into the regional territories to accomplish both short and long sales goals
  • Define organizational goals, forecasts, pricing sensitivity analysis, rep evaluations and establish budgets

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree, advanced degree a plus
  • Broad experience in Sales in the wholesale channel of 10+ years in HVAC, or plumbing industry
  • Ability to lead growth in a Manufacturers Rep and plumbing wholesale environment
  • Drive aggressive, customer focused oriented strategies efficiently and profitably within a team environment
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Excellent organizational skills, creative, analytical, multi-task, assertive, detail-oriented, ability to work with key cross-functional teams such as marketing, engineering and finance
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong presentation skills
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
