Implementation of sales plans to ensure achievement of agreed upon objectives and sales targets within a pre-defined region.  Manage sales team functions and outputs to ensure team is effectively maximizing every opportunity within the client’s structure to achieve Regional and Corporate sales objectives.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Major objectives – i.e. % sales increase
  • Responsible for achieving district sales budgets across all product categories
  • Responsible for ongoing comprehensive product training to all sales outlets/distributors
  • Monitor and analyze field sales reports, interpret results and take corrective action to achieve sales targets
  • Develop new business opportunities
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with distributors/sales outlets
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Implement plans for sales within the territory to achieve targets
  • Implement and provide pricing, applicable discounts, advertising, and rebates as approved
  • Assist in the preparation of annual sales forecast and sales budgets
  • Embrace and support growing business demands in a changing environment
  • Various projects as requested

Position Requirements:

  • Sales Forecasting on an annual and quarterly basis
  • Maintain and increase gross profit margins
  • Develop and establish display programs
  • Develop and establish volume rebate programs
  • Develop and improve customer loyalty programs
  • Ability to sell value over price – features and benefits
  • Strong strategic planning and execution excellence
  • Ability to deal with all levels of management customers (internal / external)
  • Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills with the ability to represent company image internally and externally in a professional manner
  • Degree preferred
