Our client is a well-established, privately-owned and highly profitable decorative hardware company that has tremendous growth potential with newly renovated facilities and a CEO that sees opportunity to lead the company to an even higher level of success.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans for volume and profitability growth
  • Assess, lead, hire, train sales, marketing, and customer service staff
  • Research and follow industry trends, competitors, product, and pricing
  • Build, maintain, and grow relationships with customers
  • Develop and manage sales and budgets
  • Manage forecasting and set performance goals accordingly
  • Further develop sales territories, analyzing sales by market segment, region, customer, product mix, and current and potential sales
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings

Position Requirements:

  • 7+ years of progressive sales/marketing leadership with a track record of growth in sales volume and profitability
  • Experience with a fashion building product sold through the dealer/distributor channel
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans and programs
  • Team building and leadership
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Financial acumen – budgets, pricing, margins, markups
  • Organizational and analytical skills
  • Change agent – ability to get “buy-in” lead cultural change
