Our client is a well-established privately held manufacturer of luxury plumbing products.  With high demand, high margins for their luxury products, and recent expansion to multi-site manufacturing capacity, the company enjoys flexibility in design and customization capability to support sales growth.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and manufacturing
  • Drive Continuous Improvement projects
  • Responsibility for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping

  • allocate resources effectively to produce optimum results
  • Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide clear sense of direction and focus
  • Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
  • Foster a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage, and develop plant staff
  • Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime
  • Commit and enhance plant safety procedures
  • Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metric and performance targets

Position Requirements:

  • Proven successful experience as plant manager (5 years+ in management role)
  • Familiarity with plumbing product industry equipment, technical expertise in fiberglass and solid surface materials
  • Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
  • Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement metric & KPI tracking, collect and analyze data and make recommendations for improvements
  • Lean mfg. toolbox
